The quiet autumn days and a few things we love right now

October is my favorite month. The month of Radu's birthday and the time of the year when our neighborhood has the most amazing colors. When we get excited about every warm day and we still walk to the market, having capuccinos in the bright morning sun. It's the time for cozy sweaters and comfort food. We make a reading list for the long and cold afternoons to come, we bake and have fun crafting seasonal decorations for the home. It's also the moment when for new exciting discoveries, favorite links, books and articles (and for some, favorite toys that were well forgotten during summer), since we stay inside longer and each of us has time to explore his own passions. For me that means looking for Chritmas presents and discovering new favorite artisans, making holiday plans and testing new recipes.

So here are the latest favorites on the "to-do list":

a trip in a vintage camper van. This is on the list for a long time actually and I hope that next year we will thick it off. There are also a lot of my favorite bloggers that have shared ideas and photos of their trips, which make me wanna plan this as soon as possible.

The best travel stories with a toddler and one of the first blogs I ever started following: What should I eat for breakfast today Marta really convinced that a camper van adenture with a kid is actually feasible.

the baking series. After a summer of salads and cold snacks, it’s time to turn the oven on again and enjoy a house smelling like warm pastries and homemade bread. The current obession is this banana bread with sunflower seeds from Alexandra at occasionally eggs .

the travel reads. Because I miss Paris and Pathport will have a series called "Unpretentious Parisienne" with @wanderwonders
