Sunday life
Sundays in our home are a true ode to slow living. With rituals that usually include sleeping till late and making a rich breakfast (that we usually don’t have time for during the week), walking to the market or our favorite bakery for some pastries and warm baguettes.
With books and long family lunches, a movie or some music in the evening, Sunday is the most quiet day of the week. And although we usually do a lot of what makes us happy, it really feels like a calm day, without any actual plans, just letting everything flow at a really slow pace. This day could also be one of preparing for the week ahead, but we rather leave that for the last hours of the evening. And even then it’s just a short summary of what we have planned for the week, prepping the outfits for next morning and refilling the espresso machine with water. We don’t usually like to procrastinate things, but it’s ok to keep Sunday just for recharging our spirits. And then when Monday arrives, we just figure it out one way or another... For now we are ok with the things that we choose not to do on Sunday evenings!
