I always loved seeking out special gifts. Unique items, created with passion by people who love what they do. Made with love and thoughtfulness. So the Holidays are a good occasion for searching beautiful items and meeting new artists, who put a lot of love and time in the objects they create. And since we started being more careful with the things we choose to have in our lives, buying from local artists and makers suits this idea perfectly, because their items are made to last and always have a great story behind.

With all of that being said and in the spirit of supporting local artists, here is a short gift guide all Made in Romania, by amazing creators, some of which I am proud to know personally. Most of our gifts in the past years were made by Romanian artisans and this year too we decided to support local businesses, so our presents are usually books ordered from Books Express, annual subscriptions to different independent magazines like DOR, tickets to concerts or ceramic workshops.
